The three “Majors” are the most prestigious triple-threat tournaments of the season.
They yield the highest numbers of ranking points with the World Championship standing out as the only level-4 event. Plus, they are the only tournaments with trophies at stake.

Each player’s goal will certainly be to win all three “Majors” at least once in order to complete a “Career Triple Crown” and henceforth be referred to as a “Triple Crown Winner”.
A player accomplishing this within a single season, thus completing a “Royal Triple Crown”, will be crowned “Triple Crown Queen/King/Princess” and have the right to wear his/her “Queen’s/King’s/Princess’ Crown” for the rest of his/her career.
