Even though Harry scored only 6 GPP in the penultimate scheduled game, he will take a 1-GPP lead into the final scheduled game of the 2025 GP World Series on Sunday.

Accordingly, he will need to at least tie the GPP scored by his wife, Sissy, in Game 12 to not only snap his streak of 13 ranking tournaments not won but also to finally win his first “Major” in his eighth attempt.

Nici was heavily endorsed by her parental opponents to score big in order not make sure that the respective (significant) other would not create a significant GPP gap heading into the presumed decider.

After Nici had easily scored max points, Sissy and Harry battled it out for the remaining GPP. Just like in Game 11, the die was not Sissy’s friend. First, she had to leave the 4-pointer before scoring the 3-pointer. Then, with YLO4 and BLK4 in need of a “1” with the minimum overall lead at stake, Harry turned out the lucky one.

Sissy fell to second place for the first time since claiming sole possession of the overall lead in Game 3. The two-time defending World Series Winner will need to outscore her husband by at least 2 GPP to retain the trophy in Game 12.

Still trailing first place by 21 points, Nici’s only hope to stay in the competition will be to force at least one extra game by forcing her parents into a tie for first place. For this, there are three different scenarios depending on who will get the first-place finisher:

• If Nici finishes in first place herself, she must make sure she’ll win the bonus-GPP in fourth place with Sissy finishing in second and sixth place and Harry in third and fifth place. This would arguably be Nici’s best bet as she would cut her deficit to 12 GPP and would need only one extra game if scoring max points.
• If Harry finishes in first place, Nici will need to make sure her Mom finishes in second and third place before finishing in fourth and fifth place herself. However, Nici’s deficit would dramatically increase to 27 GPP and she would need to force at least a second extra game.
• If Sissy finishes in first place, Nici will need to assist her Dad to finish in second and third place and then let her Mom have the fourth-place finisher. In such case, Nici’s deficit would even grow to 30 GPP and she would need to force at least a third extra game.

Should an extra game be required, it would be played at Monday Night MÄDNess. If Harry wins the title, he will move up to second place in both the World Rankings and the Medal Race.
