The 2025 XLeague was resumed last weekend and at Monday Night MÄDNess with the remaining two at-boards of DRR3 and the complete fourth of six double round-robins.

The season, which was started in March as “XLeague Masters”, was suspended in early May after DRR3. In early June, the Board announced that the season would be restumed under the “XLeague moniker” but retain its 2T+ set of rules for this season.

When the season was suspended in May, Sissy (then 8-3) was declared winner of the Round Robin Series after winning Game 3_4 against Harry (then 3-8). As, by this, she got out of reach for Nici (then 5-5), the remaining two at-boards were abandoned.

Even though Sissy had to forfeit the title “Round-Robin Winner” due the the continuation of the 2025 XLeague, she remains in excellent position to clinch automatic qualification for the Final Series with two DRR to go.

On Friday evening, Nici won both of the two remaining at-boards against her parental opponents to move within a win of first place. On Sunday, however, Sissy won both her at-boards and Harry got a win against his froggy daughter.

At Monday Night MÄDNess, in three dramatic and lengthy at-boards, Sissy first beat Harry but then lost to Nici who then lost to Harry. Accordingly, Sissy (11-5) will take a three-win lead over Nici (8-8) and a six-win lead over Harry (5-11) into the final two DRR to be played in mid-December after the Championship sub-season.

Interestingly, both Sissy and Nici both have negative head-to-head records against the respective player positioned a spot below on the table. Sissy is 3-5 against Nici who is 3-5 against Harry. Amazingly, Sissy has won all eight at-boards against Harry so far this season.

The XMädn action is scheduled to continue this coming weekend with the first tournament of the Championship sub-season, the 2025 Summer Championship. It is the only recurring ranking tournament that Sissy has never won as Nici won both of the two previous editions.
