Nici defended her Summer Championship title on Monday Night MÄDNess while setting a new XMädn record.

Following her win on Saturday, Nici converted her fifth championship point at the end of her first potential winner lap in Game 4 to clinch her first triple-threat title in 12 months.

With savvy tactical play and a friendly die, Nici dominated the board. Her winner lap started when her fourth green pawn had already been five sixths around the track.

A “2” won Nici the game after only 56 minutes of play, thus shattering the XMädn record for the quickest Championship game by a quarter of an hour.

Despite losing the tournament after five consecutive triple-threat title wins, Sissy profiteered from Nici’s win as she is only one single-game win away from successfully defending the “Medal” as Player Of The Year.

Even if Harry wins both tournaments remaining in 2024 and Sissy finishes last in both, Harry will mathematically only be able to draw level with Sissy once she has won one more single game. In such case, however, Sissy would win the tournament-point tiebreaker.

Nici is mathematically eliminated from “Medal” contention as she would finish one point behind her Mom even if Nici won out the season with Sissy scoring no single-game win.

Sissy’s first chance to clinch the “Medal” is scheduled for Wednesday in Game 1 of the Holiday Championship held in East Frisia.
