Major & Medal

A “Major” is among the three most prestigious triple-threat tournaments of the season.
The “Medal” is awarded to the player leading the rankings at the conclusion of the season.

The Majors

They yield the highest numbers of ranking points with the World Championship standing out as the only event at level 4. Plus, they are the only tournaments with trophies at stake.

  • GP World Series (left)
  • World Championship (middle)

Each player’s goal will certainly be to win all three “Majors” at least once in order to complete a “Career Triple Crown” and henceforth be referred to as a “Triple Crown Winner”.

A player accomplishing this within a single season, thus completing a “Royal Triple Crown”, will be crowned “Triple Crown Queen/King/Princess” and have the right to wear their “Queen’s/King’s/Princess’ Crown” for the rest of their career.

  1. “Majors” were played in reverse order. ↩︎
  2. The inaugural season was very experimental and unstructured and eventually merged the only tournament played in 2022 with those played in 2023 to ensure it would include editions of all three “Majors”. ↩︎
