TripleAthlon: Sissy wins Game 4, extends her overall lead

48 hours after frustratingly losing the win in Game 3 (3T+) to her husband after missing a match point, Sissy redeemed herself by extending her win streak in single 3T games to five in Game 4 of the “TripleAthlon”.

87 minutes into the game, Sissy started her only PWL with YLO4 half-way around the track which she completed three minutes later by converting her second match point on a “1”.

Her chief rival for the win was her froggy daughter, Nici, as she was the first to save two pawns of her violet go-to colour and, unlike her parental opponents, prevented pawns of the blocking team from going home.

Harry had a rough start and needed almost an hour to save his first blue pawn. He did get to save BLU2 but never really seemed to be in the race for the win.

With an overall lead of 5-2-1 ahead of Harry and Nici, Sissy is one full win away from successfully defending the title. Games 5 following GP rules and, if required, Game 6 following 3T+ rules are scheduled for the coming weekend with the latter likely to be played at Monday Night MÄDNess.
