Holiday Championship: Nici forces decider
As expected, the 2024 Holiday Championship will be decided in Game 7 as Nici took away the win on Thursday night.
Sissy did not endorse her froggy daughter, Nici, as much as previously expected. Instead, she made a run to clinch the Holiday Treble.
Indeed, the die was friendly with her for the first half hour but then considerably changed its mind and supported Nici.
With the die never really on his side, Harry chose to endorse his daughter even more than he had done anyway to make sure he will have a chance to retain the title in a decider.
After 67 minutes of play, with Sissy’s fourth black just having started a potential winner lap on its own, Nici converted her fifth match point on a “1” for her fourth violet pawn.
Game 7 is scheduled to determine the Holiday Champion on Sunday when the players are back home.
